So, we did it last year and we’re doing it again this year: Send us your college admissions essays and we’ll edit them FOR FREE!

Yes, you heard that right: For free. Even more impressive? We’re challenging ourselves to edit 500 COLLEGE ADMISSIONS ESSAYS by January 1, 2015 from prospies worldwide!

Want to get in on this awesomeness and have our college staff edit one of your admissions essays? Here’s what you’ve got to do:

1. Subscribe to our Getting TP’d newsletter HERE. These emails are actually incredibly cool (if we do say so ourselves) and send you awesome admissions articles, extracurricular opportunities, and general updates every 7-10 days.

2. Get 5 of your friends to “like” our Facebook page OR follow us on Twitter. Keep track of who these people are, because you’ll need them to fill out the follow steps!

3. Once you do those two steps, send us an email at with the subject line “College Essay Edit – YOUR NAME”. Your email should have several things:

  • The email address you used to subscribe to our newsletter.
  • The names/handles of the 5 people you referred to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.
  • A copy of your essay.

4. You will receive an edited copy of your essay within four days if not sooner. Typically we’ll try to get essays back to you within 1-3 days, but just be aware that it may take a little longer!

5. If you want us to do a second edit of your essay or edit a different essay: Get 5 more friends to like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter and send us your edited essay and their names/handles!

That’s it!

We’re so excited to edit your essays (help us get to 500!), and our entire staff is here to support you during the admissions process. If you have any comments, questions, or concerns, feel free to email us at!
